St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School provides an authentically Catholic education with a robust and dynamic curriculum.  The full cost to educate each student is over $5,000 but through the generous support of our benefactors, we provide most families with tuition assistance through financial aid, scholarships and grants.

How Can I Help?

There are many ways individuals can help us provide an affordable Catholic education for our students.

Parishioners

If you are a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Parish please donate through your weekly collection. Our parish community is dedicated to supporting our educational mission and as such, the parish helps offset tuition. This is only possible with your generous support.  Click here to donate to through our weekly collection.

EITC

The Educational Improvement Tax Credit program is a win-win in that the school(s) receives 100% of your contribution which the school uses for tuition assistance and you receive a 90% tax credit from the Commonwealth of PA.

The Educational Improvement Tax Credits (EITC) program is designed to allow eligible businesses and individuals designate their tax dollars to support Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.  This is one of the few opportunities you have to direct your tax dollars to a specific destination. These donations are then used for tuition assistance.  Simply put, EITC allows you to redirect your state tax dollars to the Catholic school(s) you designate  to help families with tuition assistance and to keep our schools thriving. The program requires a minimum of only $1,000. You are eligible if you individually OR your business pay $1,000 or more a year in income taxes to the State of Pennsylvania. In return, you receive a 90% tax credit for your 2-year commitment.
